Privacy Policy
KillerBot ("we," "us," or "our") operates the KillerBot platform at killr.bot. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your information when you use our services.
By using KillerBot, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials via our identity provider (Clerk). If you sign in with Google, we receive your basic profile information from Google OAuth.
Conversation Data
Messages you send to and receive from your AI assistant are processed and stored to deliver the service, maintain conversation context, and provide memory features. This includes text messages, file attachments, and any content you share through connected integrations (e.g., email summaries, web search results).
Payment Information
Subscription and credit-pack purchases are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number. Stripe retains payment details in accordance with their own privacy policy. We store your Stripe customer ID, subscription status, and transaction history for billing purposes.
Usage & Analytics Data
We collect information about how you use the service, including credit consumption, feature usage, session timestamps, browser type, operating system, and referring URLs. This helps us improve performance and reliability.
Integration Data
If you connect third-party integrations (such as Gmail or Telegram), we access only the data necessary to provide the requested functionality (e.g., reading and summarizing emails on your behalf). We do not sell or share this data with third parties for advertising purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Service delivery — powering your AI assistant, maintaining conversation history, and providing connected features.
- Billing & account management — processing payments, managing subscriptions, and tracking credit usage.
- Service improvement — analyzing aggregate usage patterns to improve reliability, performance, and features.
- Security — detecting and preventing fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
- Communication — sending transactional emails (receipts, account alerts) and, with your consent, product updates.
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate KillerBot. Each has its own privacy policy governing data handling:
- Anthropic — AI model provider. Your conversation messages are sent to Anthropic's API to generate responses. Anthropic's usage policies apply to data processed through their API.
- Clerk — Authentication and user management.
- Stripe — Payment processing and subscription management.
- Fly.io — Application hosting and compute infrastructure.
- Turso — Database hosting and storage.
- Cloudflare — DNS, CDN, and security services.
- Google — OAuth sign-in and optional Gmail integration.
We do not sell your personal data to any third party.
KillerBot's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
4. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your account information and conversation history for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual conversations at any time from within the application.
If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes (e.g., billing records may be retained for up to 7 years for tax purposes).
Data processed by third-party services (such as Anthropic and Stripe) is subject to their respective retention policies.
5. Your Rights

- Session cookies — to maintain your session state.
- Preference cookies — to remember your settings.
We do not use third-party advertising trackers or sell data to ad networks. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns.
7. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
8. Children's Privacy
